Google Goggles

Google Goggles is an image recognition application developed
by Google Inc. included in Google
Apps. This application serves
as a search-based image captured
from handheld devices. For
example, take a picture of a
product barcode will bring up
information about that product.

The History of Google Goggles was developed for use in applying Android devices. While the new
application is available in beta for
Android, Google announced plans
to develop a Google Goggles-
system devices other than
Android, which is for the iPhone
and Blackberry.

As of the October 5, 2010 announced the availability of Google Goggles for
iPhone and iPad, which run the
iOS 4.0 operating system.
